Pittington Parish Concil have established a community gardening group for residents to join and participate. The groups aim is to attract residents who are interested in becoming involved with the project, which will see planters and established land being weeded, planted and tended to throughout the year. Whether you are a keen gardener, a novice, or just simply want to enhance our community with some spare time you may have, please join us at our meetings to discuss ideas and share information. The first meeting is on Tuesday 13th April at 7pm via Zoom, passwords and information on the meeeting is listed under the agenda section of the website.

Any person interested has the right to inspect and make copies of the accounts to be audited and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating to them. Chairman Resignation
After serving several years as Councillor and Chairman to Pittington Parish Council, David Turnbull resigned with immediate effect in February 2019.
Vice Chairman, Robin Newlove, forwarded a nomination to be accepted as Chairman, this was received and accepted by the full Council.
Councillor Aarron Toal forwarded his nomination for Vice Chair, which was also received and approved by the full Council.
Audit 2017-2018
The Audit for 2017-18 has now been completed. The inspection period for the electorate will begin the 28th June until 27th July, for viewing please contact the Clerk.

Elections and New Council
After our 2017 Parish Elections we now have a Council consisting of 5 Councillors for the Parish of Pittington. Serving another term are Councillors David Turnbull (Chair), Robin Newlove (Vice Chair), Brian Fenwick, John Lee and new to the Council is Aarron Toal. We welcome all Councillors to Parish Council and look forward to serving the residents of High Pittington, Low Pittington and Littletown.
